Plaquenil and the sun - Sarcoidosis - Inspire I also love the sun, so I would throw on a hat and some 50+ block and just deal with it, but it isn't nearly as enjoyable. I stopped taking the Plaquenil several months ago and no longer have this reaction in the sun. If you feel okay in the sun, I would suggest slathering on the sunscreen, put on a hat and soak it in!
