    Plaquenil and low blood pressure

It seems that every single Dr Appt I have been to for the past year I have had low blood pressure. I just went to the Gyno for the first time yesterday (horrible expierence, Doc didnt explain anything to me and then decided to do a pelvic exam without even warning me or telling me they were going to do one then complained when I tensed up) and it was 90/54.

The most common causes of high blood pressure in people with lupus are obesity, kidney disease, and long-term steroid use. Other medications, such as cyclosporine Neoral, Sandimmune, Gengraf can also cause elevations in blood pressure. High blood pressure can lead to kidney failure, stroke, heart failure, and heart attack. Jan 25, 2017 SIDE EFFECTS. Most adverse reactions are caused by the drug's mineralocorticoid activity retention of sodium and water and include hypertension, edema, cardiac enlargement, congestive heart failure, potassium loss, and hypokalemic alkalosis. So this was quite a shock. For me after all the testing and trips to research hospitals as I also have extremely low blood pressure it was found that I have a rare neurological condition that caused my heart to start to beat into arrythmias. Most often cardiologists cannot determine what the cause of an arrythmia is.

Sometimes I feel light headed and dizzy I wonder if its from that. I was wondering if any of you guys/gals suffer from low blood pressure also?
