I am newly "diagnosed", though still waiting for it to be official. Anyway I was diagnosed with dry macular degeneration 7 years ago. I have also seen 3 rheumatologists, and 2 of them say I should take Plaquenil and the risk of damage to my macula is not big enough to not take the Plaquenil. Well, my question is: Does anyone here who is taking Plaquenil also have macular degeneration?
